Maxell 183900 is a LTO Ultrium 3 tape cartridge. It has a tape length of 680m which enables a native data storage capacity of 400GB that can be expanded up to 800GB when compressed.
Maxell 183900 LTO Ultrium 3 tape features the use of a ceramic layer just a few nanometres thick that encapsulates metal particles for extra strength and durability. The Maxell 183900 tape cartridge has a compressed data transfer rate of up to 160 MB/s.
Maxell’s patented ceramic coated metal particle process, the 183900 can achieve prodigious reliability and theoretically should last for more than 30 years in archival storage. The Maxell 183900 can also endure up to 1,000,000 head passes. The LTO-3 183900 has a grey-blue container and is compatible with LTO-3 and LTO-4 tape drives.
